Hi, and welcome to my blog, Keep Running with Kylee. As you probably already guessed my name is Kylee and the reason I created this blog is simple. I have been a runner for many years, and am also a certified athletic trainer, so my goal with this blog is to keep runners running by sharing information to help prevent injuries and to quickly and safely get you back to running if/when injuries do happen. I’ve had my fair share of injuries and have seen plenty more as an athletic trainer, so I know the struggle that can come with injury.
I have been a runner for as long as I can remember. I started running competitively in middle school, and was able to continue my running career into college at Ashland University. I still run nowadays and love to race 5ks, 10ks, and half marathons. I’ve even run a few marathons and triathlons as well, and I love them all! Like I said earlier, I also work as an athletic trainer… not to be confused with a personal trainer. Athletic trainers are the ones you might see running out on to the field or court during a sporting event when an athlete gets injured. We are the ones who help the athletes recover from injuries and give exercises and treatments to help prevent some of those injuries from happening in the first place.
So as you can see I have a passion for running and helping athletes stay injury free, and I love sharing my knowledge and passion with others! I hope by reading this blog we are able to help keep you running and do it with as few injuries as possible.
